Helping Protect Your Hands and Arms from Cuts and Burns

Hand and Arm Protection for the Kitchen
I used to get burned baking cookies.  I have faint burn scars on my forearms to be exact.  Therefore, along with the heat resistant sleeve I now use potholders and a wooden rack puller.

I keep a small bottle of aloe vera juice (yes, the kind you drink) in the fridge for burns, skin, wind, sun, and using it works for all three.

Are you scared of getting cut prepping food?  Try out the cut-resistant Kevlar glove.  You could take a preparing vegetables and fruits cutting class.  YouTube has all kinds of videos on prepping if you hunt for them.  I took an on-site knife cutting class at our local community college years ago.
